Allari Naresh’s 'Subhapradam' movie is releasing silently. Allari Naresh carries a mass image, but ‘Subhapradam’ is his first romantic classical movie under Vishwanath. Let’s find out Subhapradam movie review, to see whether Allari Naresh and K Vishwanath together can deliver a hit.

Story:

Indu (Manjari Phadnis) is a Brahmin girl, who resides in Kerala and fond of music. She falls in love with Chakri (Allari Naresh) and both decide to enter wedlock. Chakri dupes his profession to Indu and his family, and marries her. On their way back to Andhra Pradesh, Indu incidentally meets an old man (Sarath Babu). This old man changes the completion of the relation between the couple. The plot unveils when Sarath Babu reveals the past to the couple

Analysis:

Director K Vishwanath, this time has shot in the backwaters of Kerala Alappuzha giving a fresh appeal. However, the 'Subhapradam' story failed to make any impact. Once again it’s the tried and tested formula of the story as Vishwanath chooses the same old path to narrate. The script itself is not exciting and looks hackneyed. K Vishwanath fumbles once again in terms of lack of depth in the story.

A lot of effort has gone in finding out the locations rather story. 'Subhapradam' is a movie that has Manjari Phadnis all the way and not anybody else. There’s not enough drama in the movie to make it spicy and the movie runs on the plain tracks instead. One would expect a griping story and emotional sequences in Vishwanath’s film, but 'Subhapradam' has nothing to offer.

Allari Naresh has been completely outplayed by Manjari Phadnis. Perhaps, this film might do a world of good to Manjari Phadnis and her Tollywood career.

Songs are pretty well composed and are in sync with the locations. They are gelling with the romantic track between Allari Naresh and Manjari Phadnis, and K Vishwanath once again shows his ability in songs and music, but failed to write a good script.

Performances:

Allari Naresh is just merely a character in the film. May be he might have done the role with K Vishwanath’s fame. But his role in quite contrary to his previous films, mindset of a typical working class

Manjari Phadnis is the star of the movie. She has done well and her character has hogged the limelight and even outsmarted Allari Naresh. Also, Manjari Phadnis’ character has great scope for performance and she has done justice to that.

All in all, 'Subhapradam' is not a movie, which great director K Vishwanath would like to remember - Perhaps the odd film from his campaign. But that’s the beauty of the entertainment industry. It’s a great leveler and we can never rely on part laurels. And may be K Vishwanath knew it better than anyone.
