Story:

Sai (Sai Ram) is a motor mechanic. His father (Chandramohan) works as a clerk in a construction company owned by a rich real estate lord Surya Prakash (Sayaji Shinde). Surya Prakash’s daughter Aishwarya (Bindu Madhavi) is an arrogant girl. Consequences make Sai and Aishwarya love together. How Surya Prakash reacts to that forms the main story. He gives Sai an offer that he is ready to give his daughter to him if he can earn at least half of his property. But Sai says that if financial status is the barrier for marriage, he would bring down Surya Prakash to his standard. Things move accordingly in second half and finally how Sai gets success is the climax.

Artist Performances:

Sai Ram groomed to some extent but stills needs to be. His hair style and costumes are in tune with the character he played but his dialogue delivery is pitiful. He is not appealing for any set of audiences with that. He needs to get trained in diction part. Bindu Madhavi looked spicy and perfectly gelled well in arrogant role. Director proved successful in giving a different look for her and broken the jinx of family look that she acquired with ‘Avakai Biryani’. Raksha is ok as rich mother of heroine and Sayaji also grooved well in his part. Chandramohan and Kovai Sarala did their part as parents of poor hero. Ali and Venu Madhav could bring only minimum laughs with their Magadheera spoof, although there is better scope.

Technical Departments:

The subject of the film is routine, but Puri Jagannath with all his experience has infused mind game for the movement of the film and presented in an interesting manner. He has chosen to use a parody of the recent blockbuster Magadheera, with due permission from the makers of that film. Moreover, the hero of the film is from a lower-middle class family, the dialogues penned for him are very rough and appear to be the language of slum dwellers.

Another major highlight of the film is the music by Raghu Kunche. Most of the songs have become very famous and the audio album has remained a chartbuster since its release into the market. However, the debutant music director should focus a little more attention towards the re-recording to remain in the industry.

Debutant director Jaya Ravindra too is a little intelligent and has kept perfect timing between comedy, songs and action scenes at appropriate intervals. Camera work and editing is also okay. The cinematographer did a good job as there were many chase scenes in the movie.

Analysis:

Because the film has a lot of mass appeal, the film may not go well with city audiences. In the name of mind games, the story writer and director have filled the film with drama, but they are too cinematic. But for these minor lapses, the film is okay with lot of mass appeal. Moreover, the release date of the film has not been very appropriate as there has been another big release on the same day, Ek Niranjan under Puri Jagannath’s direction itself. Moreover, the opening of the film is also not very encouraging.
