TAG Line: Human journey for power

Analysis :The director of the movie Dev Katta, was successful in showcasing the extreme human emotions in his movie Prasthanam. The movie starts off with a flashback episode during the childhood days of the hero which gripped the audience well. The first half of the movie went on well with real good dialogues and effective screenplay. However in the second half the narration of the movie slowed a bit and the songs at the end irritated the audience. The ending was not routine and the director has to be appreciated for his bold attempt. Background score was superb and the songs were just normal. Cinematography was good and editing was decent.

Story :

Ballaya is a village President and his son Keshava gets killed in village feuds. Lokanadh (Saikumar) is made to marry Keshava’s wife and take care of the family. Keshava’s son Mitra (Sharwanand) follows Lokanadh right from childhood and grows as an active leader along with Lokanadh. Lokanadh’s son Chinna (Sandeep) hates Mitra for the attention he gets from his father and people. Chinna turns psychotic and even tries to kill Mitra. What Mitra does after that forms the rest of the story.

Final Verdict :A must watch for people who love political dramas and out of the routine movies
